Balos is built by a real estate management student who spends the other half of his time inside an estate surveying and valuation firm — which is where the idea came from. Watching agencies track compliance manually, on spreadsheets that were always one step behind, made the gap obvious. The response was to automate the tracking rather than add another person to do it by hand.
